Rich and I took Vincent to see SANTA at Bass Pro Shop. At first he seemed like he wasn't gonna have it! Then the old dude flashed a candycane & Vincey and Santa were best buds! We said, "SMILE"! At that's what we got. A scrunched-nosed cheeese! Too cute!

OUR 1st Hockey Game!

After a long weekend away from Vincent I wanted to spend some quality time with my boy. Rich works for the home of the local minor league hockey team called, The Reign, at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. They are the minor league team for the Kings! This was our first hockey game ever--it was sooooo much fun! The arena was full of excitement, there was crap food galore...and of course, gotta love the $8.00 beers. Vincent kept chanting go-go-go Daddy...cause he saw him in between periods cleaning the ice and adjusting the nets. After the game we went to Boston’s Restaurant to meet the hockey team so they could sign Vincent's hockey puck. The goalie, Jeff Zatkoff should be going up to the NHL real soon.

Halloween

As promised...here are the pumpkin carving pics & Vincent's 2nd Halloween pics! Daddy carved a cute ghost jack-o-lantern while Vincey looked on. He kept calling the pumpkin, "appples"! I think he was confused from our Oak Glen trip from a couple weekends ago? On Halloween Vincent dressed up as Frankinstein as we went trick-or-treating at the mall. Again, just like last year, not a lot of stores had candy. Soooo, Mama bought her baby the essentials; M&M's, Mini Oreo's, Skittles & Nutter Butters--YUM! He didn't even know the difference. Maybe next year we will go to an actual neighborhood to trick-or-treat when he will walk himself.

Pumpkin Time

So yesterday we went to the local pumpkin patch to get us some pumpkins to carve the perfect jack-o-lantern. Vincent was in heaven when he stepped on the straw ground and saw ALL the thousands of pumpkins calling his name to be be knocked over. Yep, that's my kid. Daddy and Vincent picked out a winner and will carve it soon...pictures to follow! =-) Having a son is the BEST experience of my life! He makes things sooooooooo worth it...no matter what it is. If I'm feeling down he always puts a smile on my face. I LOVE doing things with him...oh, and the hubby! =-)

Apple picking at Oak Glen

This weekend marked the 5th Wedding Anniversary of Rich and Moi, so we decided to have a family fun day to celebrate. We went to the always scenic Oak Glen for apple picking, apple cider and cider doughnuts. YUM...YUM! Every thing tasted so good and the weather was perfect! Vincent had so much fun picking his own apples as did I. It's more work than it looks to get a decent stash. We also had to try the cider doughnuts, as Rich told me he saw it on this one T.V. show that said they had the best. Well, only because we waited in the doughnut line about 45 minutes to even purchase the darn things...they were the best no matter what! It was a great day and Vincent learned to say, "APPLE", really well too.

BANG-BANG...I got 'em!

I decided I needed a change on a poor gals budget and hence, cut my own bangs! I haven't had real bangs since I was a Senior in High School--WOW! I thought if I don't like them, I can always wear a head band or pin them back. Turns out...everyone likes them! They kinda remind me a little like Kathleen Turner's hair in Peggy Sue Got Married! They're still growing on me...I'll keep them for now! =-)

I love these guys sooooo much! How cute are they in matching JET gear! Poor Vincey...he better like football (more importantly, the JETS) or Daddy will be so bummed! Daddy's got Vincent's fist pumping in air all while chanting, "J-E-T-S...JETS, JETS, JETS!" It's actually pretty cute. And due to the JETS winning the quarterback lotto by acquiring "retired" Green Bay Packers, Brett Favre (for the record...i miss u chad pennington), when we ask Vin who the quarterback is for the New York JETS he says, "Breh-Far"! Too flipping cute!
